Nine items on a bed, thirty seconds of outfit changes, never the same look twice. The comments always ask the same thing: how does that fit in a carry-on?

It fits because the maths does the work. We just built the app that does the maths for you.

Nine items. Twenty-seven outfits. One carry-on. I am never checking a bag again.

How it works

Three steps, about five minutes

You do not need to be a stylist. You need nine pieces that share a colour story, and the app handles the rest.

1

Snap your nine pieces

Photograph items straight from your closet or pull them from your camera roll. Three tops, three bottoms, three layers. That is the whole grid.

2

See all 27 looks

The moment the grid is full, every combination is generated for you. Scroll them, spin them, and star the ones you actually want to wear.

3

Pack with a plan

Your favourites become the packing list. Nothing goes in the bag that does not earn its place, and you already know what you are wearing on day four.

The maths does the packing for you

Every top works with every bottom. Every pair works with every layer. That is the whole trick, and it is why a carry-on can cover a two-week trip.

What you get

Built for the night before the flight

Fast to fill in, honest about what fits, and it works on the bedroom floor next to an open suitcase.

Your closet, photographed

Real photos of your real clothes. No stock illustrations, no catalogue that does not match what you own.

Instant outfit maths

Fill the grid and all 27 combinations appear at once. Add a shoes and accessories row and the count climbs to 81.

A lookbook you keep

Star the looks that work, hide the ones that do not. Your favourites stay saved for the next trip to the same climate.

Works offline

Your plan lives on your phone first. Airplane mode, hotel wifi, a train through the Alps. It still opens.

Share the grid

Export a clean card of your plan or your favourite looks. Handy for group trips and for the friend who always asks what you packed.

No account to start

Open the app and build. We do not ask you to sign up before you have seen whether the method works for you.

Questions

Before you ask

What is sudoku packing?

A packing method that went viral on TikTok. You bring three tops, three bottoms and three layers, chosen so that everything works with everything else. Because each choice is independent, the combinations multiply out to twenty-seven complete outfits from nine items.

Where does the 27 come from?

Three tops multiplied by three bottoms is nine pairings. Multiply that by three layers and you get twenty-seven complete outfits. The only rule is that everything has to work with everything else, which usually means picking a tight colour palette before you pick pieces.

What counts as a layer?

Anything you put over the outfit or add on top of it. A cardigan, a blazer, a scarf, a denim jacket. If it changes the look without replacing the top or bottom, it is a layer.

Do I have to use exactly nine pieces?

Nine is the method, and it is what makes the maths land on twenty-seven. You can absolutely bring more than nine items on your trip. The grid is about the pieces you are mixing and matching, not your entire suitcase.

Is it free?

You can build a plan and see your looks without paying and without making an account. There is a premium upgrade for people who want multiple plans, the full outfit set, the shoes and accessories row and clean exports. Pricing will be shown in the app at launch.

What happens to my photos?

They stay on your device by default. Nothing is uploaded unless you are on a paid plan with an account, and even then the app renders from the local copy first. The full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

When is the app out?

It is in testing on iOS now and heading to the App Store. Android is not scheduled yet. If you want a nudge when it lands, email contact@sudokupacking.com.
